Economic Action Maryland Fund (Economic Action) champions economic rights and housing justice through advocacy, research, consumer education, and direct service. We advance local, state, and federal policy, work to reform predatory debt collection practices, decriminalize poverty, and secure older adult resources. Economic Action provides direct services to ensure every Marylander has access to safe, affordable housing, free from discrimination, harassment, and code violations and remove barriers to economic well-being that disproportionately effect low-income older adults, individuals, and communities of color.

“Thank you SO much for sending me the information on an auto renew clause, and reviewing my lease. Thanks to you, I’m going to save thousands of dollars in penalties and fees. The leasing office employee wasn’t happy when I told her what you said, and I showed her the email you sent.”
