Anne Arundel County tenants

There have been some changes to eviction law in Anne Arundel County: Starting July 1, 2026, landlords are required to give 14 days written notice of eviction. Also, a tenant's belongings will no longer be left in the street. When the eviction happens, the locks will be changed, and any of the tenant's belongings will be locked inside the home. A tenant will only have 24 hours to retrieve their things before the landlord can get rid of everything.
