Deed Check and Property Tax Credit Clinic With MVLS and SOAR
This clinic is designed to help residents avoid tax sale by connecting them with valuable tax credits, reviewing their deeds, and providing brief legal advice and referrals to address any deed issues. Different from the typical MVLS clinic, no legal documents will be prepared during this event. Rather, volunteer attorneys will look up and review participants’ deeds and provide brief legal advice. Pathways to Housing: A Community Resource Fair
At 3pm, Economic Action Maryland Fund will present Fair Housing 101. This training is designed to help participants, such as housing providers, service providers, community members and advocates, learn about fair housing laws and regulations in a simple, easy-to-understand way.
