On September 11, 2025 our Securing Older Adult Resources (SOAR) Team hosted the Adult Mental Health First Aid training provided by Behavioral Health System Baltimore at our offices.

Attendees learned how to assist and support others who may be experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge. Adult Mental Health First Aid teaches the skills needed to recognize and respond to signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges, as well as how to provide someone with initial support until they are connected with appropriate professional help.

Congratulations to all of the participants for taking this important step towards better caring for the community and their clients!
