Economic Action provides direct assistance today and passes policies to change the system in the future. Our direct service programs support Maryland households struggling with housing, economic security, medical debt, and more.

The problems and challenges our clients face inform and ground the legislation we initiate and support in Annapolis. The challenges we see our clients work to overcome may also inform research we undertake. If clients we work with are interested, we provide ways for them to share their stories, advocate for policy change, and raise awareness of these issues.
